Do I need a power backup for my system? 

The answer is YES! No power is guaranteed clean, spike and surge free and without interruption. Using an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)at each station, reduces the likelihood of any damage being caused by power problems which may occur and can also give you 5 to 10 minutes of continued computer operation. This will allow you to complete a transaction and perform an orderly shutdown of your system while waiting for the power to come back on.
